Power Defragmentation A small but fast Defrag tool from sysinternal with a front end by RejZor. No pretty diagrams of your drive but very very good, better than any paid defrag I have tried NT and XP systems only

Outlook Express Backup A free utility to back up your OE data onto another drive or disc. Usefull if like me you allways forget to backup e-mail before reformating

Startup Delay A small free programme that allows you to manage the startup order of your programmes, and even insert a delay if required

PC Wizard Now that Everest is no longer free I would recommend this utility to determine everything about your system

Leechget A good free download manager that works with both IE and FF (with flashgot extension) Resume broken downloads

JV16 Powertools An exceptionallly good registry cleaner in it's last freeware incarnation. Hosted on Oldversion.com. Highly recommended
